2024-25 SDUSD Coach Hiring Process – Review and follow these procedures.
Please pay special attention to:
- The changes to the process, including that the HR Google Sheet will no longer be used
- The outlined roles and responsibilities
Every year, ALL coaches and volunteers must complete the following:
EFFECTIVE 2024-25 SEASON: EXPIRING CERTIFICATIONS MUST BE DATED ON OR AFTER THE FOLLOWING DATES
• Fall Season Coaches – December 31, 2024
• Winter Season Coaches – March 15, 2025
• Spring Season Coaches – May 31, 2025
This ensures that there are no delays with payment of coaches stipends for PAID Coaches as ALL timecards are submitted at the same time.
- Complete the Registration process on http://www.homecampus.com/login
- Contains CIF Ethics in Sports (Annual)
Here is a procedure to guide you through the process: LHS Coaches Clearance Registration 2024-25
- Turn in the following documents to Nora Aguirre – 100 Building Rm 131:
- HomeCampus Confirmation Message – This is proof that you have completed the process online and for Nora to review your online submission. The document should have Lincoln/San Diego and the Hornet logo watermark.
- COVID Vaccination Card – On 9/28/2021, the Board of Education mandated the COVID-19 vaccination as a requirement for employment. To read a copy of the agreement, click COVID-19 Agreements. Fully vaccinated is defined as completion of the two-dose regimen of Pfizer or Moderna vaccines or one dose of Johnson & Johnson administered two weeks prior or more.
You can obtain a copy of your vaccination information in minutes here: https://myvaccinerecord.cdph.ca.gov/
- Tuberculosis (TB) Test Results – Provide an Adult Initial TB Risk Assessment Questionnaire with the Adult Certificate of Completion signed by a Physician, Physician Assistant, Nurse Practitioner, Registered Nurse or School Nurse if no risk factors are identified. If risk factors are identified, a TB skin test needs to be performed and a Certificate of Completion needs to be provided once the Physician, Physician Assistant, Nurse Practitioner, Registered Nurse or School Nurse performing the examination determines that the individual is free from TB.
NOTE:
TB clearance must be ISSUED WITHIN 60 DAYS PRIOR TO YOUR START DATE.
TB clearance must be renewed every 4 years as a condition of continuing employment.
A TB Risk Assessment Questionnaire can be used after the expiration of a valid TB negative test result (approved by school nurse).
- Government Issued ID – (Military ID, Non-Expired Driver’s License)
Nora Aguirre (naguirre@sandi.net) at (619) 266-6500 Ext. 2131 will begin reviewing your certificates. Expect to receive an email status of your clearance shortly. Please be sure to check your email periodically to avoid any delays. Contact Nora if you have not heard back within 3 days of submission.
